Scrap That Idea, this week!

Urgh. I was SICK AS A DOG, yesterday. I took a couple of cold n flu tablets when I woke up, coz my throat was killin' me... half an hour later I wasn't feelin' too good. I tried to chuck, nothing came, so I took the kids to school... a 40 min drive each way.... wasn't a good idea. I puked (as I was driving) halfway to school - and for some reason I actually had a bucket in the back of the car - so I asked Mikayla to get it for me... just in the nick of time!!! Anyway... I proceed to heave the entire way home, and by the time I got home, my hands and feet had started to curl up in a cramp and my skin felt like I had pins and needles all over. I went straight to bed, but continued to be sick, or run to the loo til about 1230pm. About 3 months ago, I had a new brand of cold n flu tablets - and the same thing happened, I went to the Dr, she said it wouldn't be the tablets - she thought I had a virus.... now I'm thinking, it was definitely the cold n flu tablets - I've, all of a sudden, become allergic to something in them? Bizaare. Still feel like crap today - but think I should be able to stay away from the toilet a bit more than yesterday!

New Kits for this week - at Scrap That Idea

Oooo there are some goodies, At Scrap That Idea, this week...

Vicki has followed up her Girly Girl kit, with one for the boys... OH BOY! I LOVE THIS KIT! I made two layouts... but know, that when I get more time, I'll be making more! Great colours - Great elements!

Mel has yet another tribute, to her CT called LEIGH. This is a REALLY interesting kit!!! I've never seen these colours together - so I loved the challenge of working with it! I'm not a huge reader, so the books didn't get much of a look in!!! But I LOVE the clock - love the "old worlde" kinda elements!

And finally, Stacey has THE CUTEST "tooth fairy" kit for you!!! Another ripper of a kit, jammed packed (as always!) - I think I've made 3 layouts so far... but Tari hasn't lost any teeth yet... so this kit will DEFINITELY be used in the future, as well!!! Stacey has also made some fantastic quickpages, and add on papers for only $1!

New Kits

Lordie! Its Sunday already?!!! There are three goooorgeous new kits available at Scrap That Idea, NOW!

First up, is a blood sucking (no, not really!!!) it's actually very classy, and not vampire like at all - kit by Sara (Sweet Blossom Designs) called TWILIGHT. Now, I've never read the book or seen the movie, but I am told its more of a love story than blood sucking vampires... I'm still not sure, coz I saw Blade as a teenager, and had nightmares for months! Anyway, enough about my vampire fears - Sara's kit is beautiful! Here is the preview:

Here are my LOs. The first is a bit morbid and depressing!! There was a time, that I felt the life was sucked right outta... BUT I must reassure you, that we actually reconciled, and ARE living happily ever after!!!

The second layout probably isn't much happier!!! It's our daughter's first boo-boo. Poor thing. This happened about 5 days before her 2nd birthday... I was praying like crazy that the swelling and bruising would go away before her party... it did! (see next layouts for 2nd bday pics!)

Second cab off the rank, is Vicki - with her PREEEEETTTY new GIRLY GIRL kit. Gosh, this kit is so easy to use - and especially tickled my creative bone, as I.AM.GIRLY.GIRL!!!
