OK... now why was I posting (this is my second post today!) Oh yeah... we had my baby girl's 2nd birthday party yesterday!!! Was a crazy, crazy day - but went really well. Her actual birthday is tomorrow, so I'll post a few pics tomorrow!



AND I wanted to quickly tell you, that I've been given a ticket to ride a blog train! WooHoo! I love blog trains! They are such a cool way to get HEAPS of freebies... and get sample's of so many great designers styles! Apparently 4shared was hacked over the weekend? Or so I've read on other blogs... SO - I've opened a RapidShare acct - and will upload my kits there, from now on.

My Shiny Christmas didn't get many downloads, and the freebie search engines, picked up one of my layouts, instead of the preview... which probably didn't help things!!! So I'll re-present Shiny Christmas, in November - when people are thinking more Christmassy Thoughts!!!

Other Creative News...
Vicki was asking for someone to make her a swanky blinkie, coz she didn't think hers was much chop! I left her a comment saying I thought hers was fantastic, coz I couldn't even make a crappy blinkie!!! So guess what... for the last couple of days, all I've been thinking about is "How do I make a (crappy) blinkie?!!" I g00.gled it, and look to your right, and you'll see my very average "virgin" blinkie! When I have a little more time, I'd really like to do something a bit better... at least I now know, how to make a crappy blinkie?!!!

Hoot Hoot & BIG CHILL FREEBIE

First up - I found some photos that Mikayla took, while we were in China, last year. We had a terrible experience, with a corrupted transfer in China, and lost ALL our photos, except for those we took in Beijing. I can't tell you how upset I was.... SO we'll move right along... Mikayla took a few with her camera - so we have a couple of the Terracotta Warriors and HongKong Disney! Thank the Lord for Mikayla!

I whipped a few layouts up, featuring Mikayla's photos - and using RebeccaB's HOOT HOOT HOORAY freebie kit!

Oooh, how I love Saturdays!!! Pre-Tari, it'd be our sleep-in day, then I'd make pancakes. These days, sleep-in means - 7am! And I still make pancakes!

Thought I'd just drop a quick post, to tell you about RebeccaB's lastest creation "Hoot Hoot Hooray"! Its gorgeous! Rebecca has a QuickPage ready to download - which is awesome for when you're in a hurry!!! I think I can see a few birthday cards with this one?!!

I've used it as a bit of a Fathers Day card, myself! I think the whole kit will be available next week. I don't have the alpha, so for this layout, I used "digs my heart" by kevinandamanda

How great are Rebecca's papers? Pure genius!! Thanks again Rebecca!

I went spending... again!!!

Look what good came from it, though....

SPACE by Sara, was on sale for only $2 - love the colours in this kit - fantastic for your manly little boy!

I used this next layout, for my "Cheryl's Recipe Challenge", from Scrap That Idea Blog!

I love the chocolate with the blue! Makes me think of Chocolate Blueberry Muffins!!! Mmmmm!

I've also used the Space Kit, to make Harrison's birthday invitations (he wants to go "Laser Hunting"!!! - laser skirmish to most people... but Laser Hunting to Harrison!) They look really good... not going to show you though, too many personal details on there!!! :) You'll just have to believe me that they're mighty fantastic!

CALYPSO by Mel, was only $1... lovin' those beeeeautiful pastels! Perfect for my girls "widdle girl" pics!

WALK DOWN ZOO LANE by Mel, was only $1 too! Quite the opposite to Calypso, and has awesome bright colours with animal themes... (sorry! its now retired... guess thats why it was in the bargain basement?!! (I still don't know if "patted" is a real word?!!)

MR ROBOTO by Stacey, was Stacey's new kit for the week... and she was giving it away for only $1!!!

This next layout makes me smile... Tari has been watching alot of Hi5, of late... "Livin' in a Techno World" is one of their songs!!!

I also wanted to brag, a little! HA! I won a PUZZLE SKETCHES challenge - with this layout! I used Sara's "Doodlicious" kit.

(OK, I'll 'fess up... I won by default... the winner was drawn by one of those random picker thingies!!! LOL... not because someone actually thought it was any good!!! :) ... just between you and me... I really liked it... but she's my kid... I MEANT to like it!!!
